I'm a musician and teacher with a passion for plucked string instruments. As a guitarist, I've played for clients ranging from the De Vere hotel chain to the MOD. I've had residencies in gastro-pubs, provided background music for business launches, and entertained at weddings anywhere from Newstead Abbey, Normanby Park and Tattershall Castle to Safeway supermarket Nottingham! As a teacher, I started out on peripatetic guitar, then specialised in post-compulsory education. I've taught music in primary and secondary schools, at Further Education College, and on a modular honours degree course as an Associate Lecturer for the Open University.
